This is the new look for the OSINFO site.

This is the third iteration of the site.

The previous one was created and hosted at Squarespace, which is an amazing service. Although I moved all the content to this new platform, some of it can’t be displayed for various reasons. Therefore, the previous site will be accessible for as long as possible but with a different domain name. If there is anything old that you can’t get here, probably you’ll be able to see it through the previous site accessible here.

The first, and older, version of  my site was created November 30th 2004 at Modblog (which I didn’t have to pay for as it was free…). Although I liked it, I decided that to have all the functions I needed and wanted, it would cost me some money… and it was when I decided to move to Squarespace.

This site was born out of my interest for information in general and for Open Source Intelligence in particular. It will reflect my own interests for anything even remotely linked with any type of crime, cybercrime, foreign affairs, current events, technology, defence related issues and Intelligence. I’ll try to update it as often as possible but bear in mind that this is done in my free time which isn’t as much as I would like.

Of course, there are plenty of similar resources available on the Web but I decided to venture into this, thinking about some friends who have the same general interests as myself (but not the will or time to chase for information) and will try to make it as complete as possible.

Due to compatibility issues, as mentioned, I decided to leave all the old posts at the first site (all posts between December 2004 and early February 2005) and at the previous one (all posts from early February 2005 and August 2014) which will be acting as a kind of an archive.

Here you will find all posts starting at 1 September 2014.

I hope you will enjoy using the site as much as I do maintaining it.
